Who the hell is Shokikita?

Shokikita (初期北, literally "Prototype-kita") is the fan name given to an early version of Arakita (above) with shaggy hair and a more sedate personality, whom you've probably seen in a lot of Japanese fanart. You can learn more about the character's origins and how he differs from the standard model Arakita here.

The vast majority of his characterization is fanon, since he disappears from the manga pretty early on. Often, he's depicted as a "dark" or "id" version of Arakita doing all the naughty things our uptight punk would not. He's also usually depicted as yandere, which (since this is a 'dere' Arakita account to begin with) is the approach I'll be taking.

What is yandere and what does it do?

Yandere is another of the personality tropes in the 'dere' spectrum, alongside tsundere (mean on the outside), kuudere (cold on the outside), and dandere (shy on the outside). Yandere differs from these other 'dere' tropes in that the character is outwardly cheerful and affectionate, but usually harbors some kind of violent or manipulative side. This often gets explained by way of mental illness, of the hyped-up mass media kind that doesn't actually resemble real mental illness, so consider this an official trigger warning for that, as well as for behaviors like emotional manipulation, stalking, gaslighting, negging, invading personal space, and coercion.

The yandere trope (or yangire, a similarly violent character type which just drops the 'fucked up romance' angle) also tends to get gory in a hurry, and it can have some major overlap with rape and sexual assault narratives. While I do not roleplay any sort of rape or "dub-con", inappropriate touching, space violations and minor violence can come up, so I'll do my best to check in OOC via DM before that happens. Similarly, you are always welcome and encouraged to reach out if a scene starts to make you uncomfortable.

Okay, any other squicks and triggers that are liable to come up with this guy?

He does a lot of "off-screen" violence with subjects which may or may not be human, usually described only with sound effects (for ex: "snip snip snip"). He also may or may not be a cannibal (although I will provide plenty of warnings if I ever actually show that). He's into bladed objects and needles and will use the emoji associated with these. And he will (with the other player's permission) misgender and ridicule trans/GQ characters.

Others, off the top of my head:

-Using gendered slurs
-Dacryphilia (tear/crying fetish)
-Nurse/medfet
-Unprotected sex (though this is a squick of mine personally so it'd probably just get handwaved)

...Again, I work with muns OOC about these things, but you may still wish to mute if you don't want to see any of this on your timeline. I'll do my best to tweet warnings if a thread starts to go down a particularly squicky or triggery path.

I should note, however, that just like my other characters, I do not roleplay sexual scenes with players who are under 18 and I will never roleplay anything involving harming a child. If you don't have your age listed in your profile, I will ask you outright before our thread starts getting adult.

You followed or tagged me but I don't want to play with this guy.

It's okay! Like other personal space violators Machimiya and Komari, I'm well aware Shokikita is not everyone's cup of tea. Please feel free to ignore him, mute or even block the account if you need to. If you decide to get into a thread with him and later feel it's not going in a direction you're comfortable with, feel free to drop it. An OOC note that you're doing so is appreciated, but definitely not necessary.

Who's the person behind this account?

I'm Kris. You can find more info about me over on @tsunderekita's main Twitter RP info page.

Who drew the art used in your Shokikita's Twitter icon?

That would be @ashikibutt! All credit goes to her, please.
