Obedience Curse

For this AU Monday, Arakita is being swapped for an AU version who has been cursed since birth to be obedient -- he literally has to follow every order given to him, no matter who from, down to the letter. He can, with extreme effort, delay completing an order, but he usually has to follow through eventually.

Interpretation of an order is usually very literal. If you told him to "go tell it on the mountain" he'd have to find a mountain to climb. This obviously can get hilarious, but also dangerous, so there are a few ground rules.

Also, a grammatical note: requests are viewed differently than orders. For example, "make me some tea, Arakita" would be a command he'd have to obey, but "could you make me some tea, Arakita?" is a request and he is able to refuse. Keep this in mind when asking things of him throughout the day.

Ground Rules

For the most part, anything goes for this event, no matter how outrageous. However, there are certain things I just won't play, namely:

-Anything that would lead to his or another character's grievous bodily harm or death.
-Anything that would force him or another character into a non-consensual sexual situation.
-Any sort of 18+ scenario with a player under the age of 18.
-Any kink play which isn't discussed in advance out of character (DM, preferably).
-Things that, by being physically impossible or tedious, would take him out of play for the remainder of the day (for example: "sleep until Tuesday," "go pluck every blade of grass on that hill," "go lasso the Moon for me," et cetera).

I can't ICly refuse your character's orders, so if something like this comes up, I'll be forced to simply drop the thread.

I want to order Arakita to ________ but I'm not sure if this crosses the boundaries you've set up.

Duration

The event will last until midnight, Pacific time. Unfinished threads started before that time can be continued on the assumption the event is still active, but new threads started after that point cannot.

I want to tag your character but don't want to participate in this event

Normally I'd say that's fine and we'll just assume the event doesn't affect our thread, but to keep things simple, I'm going to request you just postpone it until Tuesday. Any threads started prior to the event we can assume are unaffected, however.

Background/Inspiration

Ella Enchanted is a popular retelling of the Cinderella story written by Gail Carson Levine (and we will not discuss the movie adaptation). It was published in 1997.
